Peccie Division III Winner of Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award

SILVIS, Ill. – Brian Peccie of Washington & Lee claimed the Division III Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award for earning medalist honors following a three-hole playoff at the Division III National Championships.

Peccie opened the championship with 1-under 71 and was tied for ninth place. After posting three-under in round two he moved to tied for second and was one shot back. Another 3-under showing in the third round moved him into to first at 7-under and three shots clear of second. In the final round, Peccie carded birdies on Nos. 3 and 8 to move to 9-under, but six bogeys in his final 10 hole saw him fall to 3-under and playoff with Logan Young. Peccie parred the third playoff hole to claim medalist honors.

The win was Peccie’s first of the season.
