James Marchesani Claims NAIA Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award presented by Callaway

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – James Marchesani of Oklahoma City claimed the NAIA Arnold Palmer Individual National Champion Award presented by Callaway for earning medalist honors at the NAIA Championships.

Marchesani entered the final round tied for third at 2-under par. He bogeyed the second hole but followed up with birdies at Nos. 3 and 13. Marchesani also birdied No. 18 to move to 5-under and force a playoff. He would again birdie the 18th in the first playoff hole to claim the NAIA individual title. It was Marchesani’s sixth win in 10 events this season, including five straight.
