Lewis-Perkins named 2021 NCAA Division II Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award presented by StrackaLine

NORMAN, Okla. — Oliver Lewis-Perkins of Lee has been named the recipient of the 2021 Division II Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award presented by StrackaLine.

A left-hander from Gravesend, England, Lewis-Perkins was previously named Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Year and a GSC first-team honoree. He recorded seven top 10 finishes in 11 events, including a runner-up showing at the NCAA Championships. As a team, Lee advanced to match play at the national tournament.

Nova Southeastern’s Javier Calles, Santiago De la Fuente of Arkansas Tech, Lander’s Linus Jonsson, and Missouri S&T’s Carl Miltun joined Lewis-Perkins on the All-Freshman team.
