NORMAN, Okla. – Midland will open the season ranked first in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Preseason Coaches Poll. The Chaps received three first-place votes.
Defending national champion Indian Hills claimed the other two first-place ballots and rank second. Odessa was third followed by Iowa Western, Central Alabama, McLennan, Eastern Florida State, Hutchinson, and Western Texas. New Mexico JC and Wallace State tied at No. 10.
