(NEW YORK, NY) — The Golf World/Nike Golf NJCAA DI College Preseason Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).  Indian Hills, the defending NJCAA DI champion, is the No. 1 ranked team in the first ever Golf World/Nike Golf NJCAA DI preseason coaches' poll.

The Iowa-based school was the first "northern" program to win the national title after the Warriors had finished either second or third at the championship seven of the previous 10 years..

Brevard, who finished third at the NJCAA DI Championship last spring, claims the second spot in the preseason poll, earning two first-place votes. Rounding out the top five are Central Alabama, who received two first place votes and was last year's runner-up, McLennan with one first place vote, and Midland.
