(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NAIA College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Oklahoma City retains the top spot in the Golf World/Nike Golf men's NAIA coaches' poll. Competing against a field of Division I teams at the Wichita State Shocker Classic, the Stars finished sixth, then finished third at the UC Ferguson Classic.

The performances earned the defending NAIA champions seven of the 10 available first-place votes in the latest poll.

British Columbia retained its No. 2 ranking from the preseason while Texas Wesleyan jumped to No. 3. Our Lady of the Lake and the University of the Cumberlands rounds out the top five.

No. 6 Johnson & Wales earned one first-place vote, while No. 17 Bellevue claimed the final two and moved into the top 25 after being unranked in the preseason.

Also joining the top 25 are three other schools: No. 21 Oklahoma Baptist, No. 23. Mount Mercy and No. 24 Indiana Wesleyan.
