Fosaas Named NAIA Recipient of Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award

MESA, Ariz. – Carl Didrik Meen Fosaas of Keiser has been named recipient of the NAIA Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award.

Fosaas was named The Sun Conference Freshman of the Year. He claimed the conference championship as one of two wins this season. Fosaas tallied six additional top five showings and did not place outside the top 14 in 14 events.

Ben Bailey of Keiser, Jack Madden of Oklahoma City, Eli Scott of Coastal Georgia, and South Carolina Beaufort’s Jacob Thomas joined Fosaas on the All-Freshmen Team.
