Bruce Wins NJCAA Division I Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award

NORMAN, Okla. – Callum Bruce of Midland College claimed the NJCAA Division I Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award for earning medalist honors at the NJCAA Division I National Championships.

Bruce opened the tournament tied for sixth after posting 3-under 69. A second straight 69 saw him slip a spot in the standings in round two. Five birdies and an eagle propelled Bruce into a tie for second and a single shot back after carding 67. The final round saw Bruce move into the lead when he birdied Nos. 4-6. He would extend his lead with additional birdies at Nos. 10, 11, and 15. Bruce’s final round 66 powered him to a four-shot victory.

The win was Bruce’s sixth of the season and third straight.
