Ryan Division III Winner of Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award

NORMAN, Okla. – Logan Ryan of Emory has been named recipient of the Division III Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award.

Ryan has registered four top-five finishes this season. Entering the NCAA Championships he sported a 72.91 stroke average and posted eight rounds of par or better. A two-time University Athletic Association Golfer of the Week, Ryan is the fifth Emory player to win the conference’s Rookie of the Year award since it was instituted in 2012.
