Hutchinson’s Crockett NJCAA Division I Recipient of Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award

NORMAN, Okla. – Charlie Crockett of Hutchinson has been named recipient of the NJCAA Division I Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award.

Crocket has four individual titles this season, including both the NJCAA District III Championship and the Jayhawk Conference. He has three additional top-five finishes. Crocket was also named a PING First-Team All-America selection and a finalists for the Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award presented by Barbasol.

Eastern Arizona’s Leon Acikalin, Max Charles and George Saunders of Midland College, and Harry Doig of Indian Hills joined Crockett on the All-Freshman Team.
