Oleseon named 2020 NJCAA Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award Recipient

NORMAN, Okla. — Jacob Scov Oleseon of Ranger has been named the recipient of the 2020 NJCAA Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award.

Oleseon posted a scoring average of 67.93 over the 2019-20 season, ranking 1st across NJCAA Division I. The Freshman earned three individual victories and three top-ten finishes in six total events this year.

Oleseon was also named NJCAA Division I PING All-District and NJCAA Division I PING First Team All-America.

Harry Fearn of Indian Hills, Jack Goldasich of Central Alabama, Sangha Park of Odessa, and Dean Walsh of Iowa Western all joined Oleseon on the All-Freshman team.
