Twitty NJCAA Divison II Winner of Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Will Twitty of South Mountain has been named recipient of the Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation as the most outstanding freshman in NJCAA Division II men’s golf.

Twitty claimed one victory this season - the Scottsdale Invitational. He also posted five additional top five finishes. Twitty only finished outside of the top 20 three times in 13 events.

Sean Burgess of South Mountain, Walter State’s Brad Hawkins, Jackson Kneeshaw of Clarendon and Mississippi Gulf Coast’s Hayes Weathersby joined Twitty on the All-Freshmen Team.
