NEW YORK, NY?The first Golf World/NIKE Golf Division III Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and the NAIA, will appear in the March 1 issue of Golf World. Methodist was the unanimous choice to remain the No. 1 team in the poll, earning all 16 first-place votes.

The Monarchs won all five tournaments they played in the fall and open their spring schedule next week at the Callaway Invitational.

Rounding out the top-five are Huntingdon (No. 2), Skidmore (No. 3), Guilford (No. 4) and Oglethorpe (No. 5).

Illinois Wesleyan (T-10) moved into the top-10, after being ranked No. 11 in the previous coaches? poll.

St. John Fisher (No. 25) moved into the top-25.
