British Columbia Retains Top Spot in Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches' Poll

 

NEW YORK, NY?The third Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches? Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).  British Columbia remains the number one team in the poll, earning eight of the nine first-place votes.

The Thunderbirds won their season opener, the St. Martins Invitational, and placed fourth at the Western Washington Invitational.


Rounding out the top-five are Oklahoma City (No. 2), Oklahoma Christian (No. 3), Point Loma Nazarene (No. 4) and Wayland Baptist (No. 5). 

Malone (No. 9) cracked the top-10, after being ranked 14th in the previous coaches? poll. Oklahoma Baptist (No. 11), Lewis-Clark State (No. 16), Northwood (Fla.) (No. 23) and CSU-San Marcos (No. 25) all moved into the top-25.
