HOUSTON ?  Jarin Todd of Sonoma State was named the Division II winnner of the Jack Nicklaus Award. This is the second-straight season the junior has claimed the award. The Nicklaus Award is presented annually to the national player of the year in NCAA Divisions I, II and III and the NAIA.

Todd won three tournaments this season - the St. Martin?s Invitational, the WWU Invitational and the Stanslaus/Buzzini Invitational. He also placed runner-up four times and only placed outside of the top five three times. Todd did not finish outside of the top 10 in 12 events this season. He also led Division II in score vs. par and adjusted stroke average.
