Oklahoma Christian Remains Top Team in Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches' Poll

 

NEW YORK, NY?The fifth and final Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and III, will appear in the May 18 issue of Golf World.  Oklahoma Christian remains the top team in the NAIA poll, earning five of the eight first-place votes.

The Eagles have four wins this season and have not finished outside the top-five. They will compete at the NAIA National Championship next week at TPC Deere Run in Silvas, Ill.

British Columbia stays in the No. 2 spot, grabbing the final three first-place votes.  Oklahoma City (No. 3), Berry (No. 4) and Wayland Baptist (No. 5) round out the top-five. 

Victoria (No. 7) cracked the top-10, after being ranked No. 11 in the previous coaches? poll. Webber International (No. 15) and Northwood (Fla.) (T-21) moved into the top-25.
