The First Tee of South Los Angeles Partners with Area Colleges for Special Event This Saturday

Los Angeles, Calif. (January 28, 2013) – Participants of The First Tee of South Los Angeles (TFTSLA) will have the opportunity to meet and learn from student-athletes and coaches from Southern California, UCLA and Loyola Marymount golf teams on Saturday, February 2 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 12 Noon during a special event at the Maggie Hathaway Golf Course, home of The First Tee of South Los Angeles.  TFTSLA and Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) have teamed up to organize the event.

The event will give TFTSLA participants the opportunity to learn from collegiate players and coaches in the areas of golf instruction and wellness, as well as the importance of high school graduation, preparation for college and college golf opportunities.
