Oklahoma Christian Remains Number One in Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches' Poll

 

NEW YORK, NY-The third Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).  Oklahoma Christian retained the top spot in the poll, earning seven of nine first-place votes.

  

The Eagles won the Sleep Inn & Suites Classic last week, and earlier in the month they finished second to Division I Vanderbilt at the Kauai Collegiate Cup in Hawaii. Rounding out the top-five are British Columbia (No. 2), Oklahoma City (No. 3), Point Loma Nazarene (No. 4) and Johnson & Wales (No. 5).

Wayland Baptist (No. 10) joins the top-10 after being tied at No. 11 in the previous coaches? poll.

New to the top-25 are Shorter (No. 20) and Northwood (Fla.) (No. 25).
