Whistling Straits to Host 2005 Palmer Cup Presented by Monster

Beginning with a 560-acre parcel of flat land, Pete Dye sculpted a bit of Ireland and a touch of Scotland out of the Wisconsin coastline to build Whistling Straits. With more than a hint of the Emerald Isle in its style and personality, the Irish Course at Whistling Straits possesses all the character of a centuries? old legend. The Irish Course completes 72 holes of the most diverse golf experience in the world. The course is another Dye masterpiece and a perfect companion to the adjacent, stunning Straits Course. The ninth annual Palmer Cup presented by Monster competition returns to the United States after being held at Ballybunion Golf Club in Ireland last summer.
