Pieters Claims Division I Arnold Palmer Award presented by Callaway

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Thomas Pieters claimed the Division I Arnold Palmer Award presented by Callaway for earning medalist honors at the NCAA Championships.

Pieters recorded five birdies in his opening round to shoot 2-under 69 sit in tie for fourth place. He moved into first after the second round. Pieters fired five more birdies for a 3-under 68 to take a two-shot lead. With two birdies and two bogeys Pieters was even in his final round to stay at 5-under and win the NCAA title by three shots.
