Georgia Takes Over Top Spot in GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll NORMAN, Okla. ? New Mexico and Auburn switched spots in the poll with the Lobos now ranked fourth and the Tigers at fifth. Texas moved up two spots to sixth and is followed by Kentucky, Arizona State and TCU. UCLA moved into the top 10, climbing six rungs from No. 16. Southern California moved up a single position to No. 11 while Augusta State made the poll?s biggest jump, soaring eight spots to No. 12. Brigham Young rose four places to No. 12, UNLV remained at No. 14 and Duke moved up seven spots to grab the 15th slot. Clemson and Michigan State are tied at No. 16. The top 20 is rounded out by Arizona, Tennessee and Wake Forest, who reentered the poll after falling out of the last ranking. Florida - who dropped 15 spots - checked in at No. 21 and is followed by Georgia State and previously unranked Minnesota. Kent State and Oklahoma are tied at No. 24. South Carolina and Washington fell from the top 25 rankings. The GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches at Division I institutions.
