Argento NJCAA Divison II Winner of Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Jake Argento of South Mountain has been named recipient of the Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation as the most outstanding freshman in NJCAA Division II men’s golf.

Argento recorded two victories - the Arizona Christian Fall Kickoff and NJCAA DII Golf Preview. he finished in the top five on three other occasions  and had three additional top 10s. Argento did not finish outside of the top 20 in 11 events.

Alex Clark of Copiah-Lincoln CC, Tyler JC’s Cameron Lindell and South Mountain CC’s Ben Seward and Marley Sweeney joined Argento on the All-Freshmen Team.
