Jake Stirling Claims NJCAA DI Arnold Palmer Award presented by Callaway

NEWTON, Kansas – Jake Stirling of Meridian CC claimed the NJCAA Division I Arnold Palmer Award presented by Callaway for earning medalist honors at the NJCAA DI Championship.

Stirling had rounds of 71, 74, 70, and 71 to finish the tournament at -2 with a one-shot victory over Jon Paul Blampied of Indian Hills.  He birdied 14, 15 and 16 in his final round 71.  Stirling’s Meridian team finished in fourth place at nationals as Indian Hills repeated their championship from a year ago.
