E-Z-GO Textron Names Labron Harris Sr. Scholarship Award Winner
Cizdziel of Middle Atlantic Section takes prize

NORMAN, Okla. ? E-Z-GO Textron, in cooperation with the GCAA, has named Jeffery Cizdziel the winner of the inagural Labron Harris Sr. Scholarship Award. The $2,500 scholarship goes to an oustanding high school senior that displays excellent test scores, academic performance, extracurricular activities, as well as citizenship. Furthermore, the winner must be related to a PGA of America member in the section of the Labron Harris Sr. Award winner. This year, that honoree was Virginia Tech?s Jay Hardwick.

Cizdziel is the son of PGA member Peter Cizdziel, the GM of Fort Belvoir Golf Courses and Officers Club. He recently graduated from North Stafford High School - where he played high school golf - in Stafford, Va., with a GPA of 3.36. Next year Cizdziel will attend Mars Hill College where he plans on majoring in Business Management/Marketing and playing on the Lacrosse team.

"I was greatly surprised to learn that I was the recipient of this scholarship," said Cizdziel. "I?m absolutely thrilled to receive this honor as was my family."
