The First Tee of Greater Portland Partners with Area Colleges for Special Event this Saturday

Gladstone, Oreg. (April 3, 2012) – Participants of The First Tee of Greater Portland will have the opportunity to meet and learn from student-athletes and coaches from Oregon State University this Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. during a special event at The Children’s Course in Gladstone, Oreg.

The First Tee of Greater Portland and Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) have teamed up to organize the event, which will benefit more than 50 young people from the greater Portland area who are planning to attend.

The event will give The First Tee of Greater Portland participants the opportunity to learn from collegiate players and coaches and in the areas of golf instruction and wellness, as well as the importance of high school graduation, preparation for college and college golf opportunities.
