Oklahoma Tops Latest Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. — Oklahoma became the third team in as many rankings to hold the top spot in the Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll. The Sooners claimed 15 first-place votes.

Previous No. 1 Oklahoma State dropped to second but picked up three first-place votes. Third-ranked Arizona State tallied one first-place ballot while No. 4 North Carolina grabbed the remaining three. Texas came in at No. 4. Stanford was the biggest mover in the poll, rocketing up 13 spots to sixth. Arkansas ranked seventh while Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech rounded out the top 10.

Four teams - BYU (#18), USF (#22), Washington (#24), and Purdue (#25) - debuted in the ranking. Florida, Florida State, LSU, and Notre Dame fell from the rankings.
