Oregon Finishes Fall Atop Final Fall GCAA Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. – Oregon has ascended to the No. 1 ranking in the GCAA Coaches Poll after finishing first outright or tied for first in all four of its fall tournaments. The Ducks received 12 first-place votes to supplant former Illinois from the top spot.

The second-ranked Illini tallied nine-first place ballots and is followed by Florida State, who received the remaining first-place vote. UCLA and Texas round out the top five.

Kennesaw State, who failed to receive a vote in the preseason, debuts in the ranking at No. 24 while Oklahoma State re-entered the ranking in the 25th spot. Georgia and SMU fell out of the top 25.
