NORMAN, Okla. — Arkansas Tech, the defending national champion in Division II golf, moved to the top spot in the Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll. The Wonder Boys received six first-place votes.
Previous No. 1 West Florida received more first-place votes with seven, but finished two points back of Arkansas Tech to rank second. Lynn moved up one stop to third. No. 4 Barry tallied the remaining first-place vote. Georgia Southwestern was fifth and followed by Lincoln Memorial, Lee, South Carolina Aiken, and Central Missouri. Saint Leo moved up one place to crack the top 10.
Erskine (#17), West Georgia (#T-22), and Grand Valley State (#25) made their debuts in the ranking. Clayton State, CSU Pueblo, Lander, and Valdosta State dropped from the poll.
