NORMAN, Okla. — After finishing Runner-Up in the 2019 NCAA National Championships, the Texas Longhorns earn the preseason No. 1 ranking in the opening Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll after receiving 9 first place votes.

The Longhorns return four of their starting five from the 2018-19 season. #1 Amateur in the WAGR, and Mark H. McCormack Medal winner Cole Hammer will look to lead Texas to another successful season after posting a pair of victories during his Freshman campaign.

Arizona State came in second in the poll, followed by Georgia Tech, Oklahoma State, and Vanderbilt rounding out the Top-5. Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Auburn, the defending National Champions Stanford, and Pepperdine all begin the season in the Top-10.
