NORMAN, Okla. – South Mountain claimed seven first-place votes to regain the No. 1 spot in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division II Coaches Poll. The Cougars also held the top spot in the September 28 ranking.

Previous No. 1 Mississippi Gulf Coast tallied one first-place ballot but dropped to second. Tyler JC stayed third. Meridian and Kirkwood flipped Nos. 4 and 5. Murray State remained sixth and was followed by Parkland, Black Hawk, Walters State, and Mesa.
