Oklahoma City Remains Number One in Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches' Poll

NEW YORK, NY?The second Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and III, will appear in the March 22 issue of Golf World

Oklahoma City, three-time tournaments winners in the 2009-10 season, received only three of the 10 first-place votes, but kept its spot atop the NAIA poll.

Rounding out the top-five are Oklahoma Christian (No. 2), SCAD (No. 3), USC-Beaufort (No. 4) and Malone (No. 5).

No new schools entered the top-10.

Point Loma Nazarene (No. 21) moved into the top-25, despite news last week that the program?s men?s golf team (among other men?s programs) would be eliminated at the end of the season.
