Harris Wins Division III Arnold Palmer Award Presented by Callaway Golf

  

Duluth, Georgia ? Scott Harris, Jr. of St. John Fisher claimed the Arnold Palmer Award presented by Callaway Golf for Division III. The Palmer Award is presented annually to the national championship individual medalists.

This was the sixth victory of the season for Harris, who was also named to the All-America First Team and the Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team.  ?It?s a big deal,? said Harris of winning the Palmer Award.  ?He (Palmer) is one of the best golfers of all time.?

 

Notable past recipients of the award include Phil Mickelson (1992), Justin Leonard (1994), Tiger Woods (1996), Charles Howell (2000) and Ryan Moore (2005).
