Oklahoma City New Unanimous Number One

 

NEW YORK, NY?The final Golf World/Nike Golf NAIA Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Oklahoma Christian?s hold on the top spot has ended with Oklahoma City earning all six first-place votes. Oklahoma City defeated Oklahoma Christian in the NAIA Region VI Championship last month, then finished fourth in the Maxwell last weekend (a NCAA Division I tournament). Oklahoma City will next try to defend its NAIA national title May 22-25 at Indiana National Golf Club in Plymouth, Ind.

Rounding out the top five are: Oklahoma Christian (No.2); Johnson & Wales (No.3); Wayland Baptist (No.4); British Columbia (No.5).
