NORMAN, Okla. – Indian Hills claimed five first-place votes and remained No. 1 in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll. The Warriors won their season opening event, the Mt. Mercy Invitational.

Midland recevied the remaining first-place vote and moved up two spots to No. 2. Third-ranked New Mexico JC moved up six places. Iowa Western and Western

Texas tied at No. 4. Sixth-ranked Hutchinson was followed by Eastern Florida State, Dodge City, and McLennan. No. 10 Wallace State made its debut in the top 10.

Defending national champion Odessa dropped from the ranking.

The next Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Polls will be released October 20.
