NORMAN, Okla. – Preseason No. 1 UT Tyler held on to the top ranking in the Division III Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll. The Patriots claimed 16 of 20 first-place votes.

Huntingdon moved up three spots to second. Emory tallied two first-place ballots to climb three rungs to No 3. Illinois Wesleyan was fourth while Methodist checked in at No. 5. Guilford received one first-place vote, despite dropping two spots to sixth. Concordia (TX) jumped from No. 18 to No. 7 and is followed by Wittenberg, Washington & Lee, and Sewanee.

No. 18 Chapman, who earned the remaining first-place vote, led a contingent of poll newcomers that included Southwestern (TX) (#20), La Verne (#21), Rochester (#22), Ohio Wesleyan (#T25), and Willamette (#T25). Christopher Newport, Gustavus Adolphus, Skidmore, St. Thomas (MN), and Williams fell from the ranking.

The next Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Polls will be released October 20.
