NORMAN, Okla. – Southern California received 13 first-place votes to become the new No. 1 team in the Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll. The Trojans are the fourth team to hold the top ranking this season.

Baylor bolted up five spots to second and received two first-place tallies. Previous No. 1 Vanderbilt dropped to third and appeared on the remaining first-place ballot. Okahoma State dropped to fourth. Florida and Oregon tied at No. 5. LSU moved up a spot ot No. 7. Wake Forest jumped up eight places to No. 8 and was joined by No. 10 Kent State, who climbed five rungs, as newcomers to the top 10. Illinois fell to No. 9.

Mississippi (#23) and Arizona State (#24) reentered the ranking. Arkansas and San Diego State fell from the top 25.
