NORMAN, Okla. – Tyler JC was the new top-ranked team in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division II Coaches Poll. The Apache’s ascencion to No. 1 snapped South Mountain’s streak of 18 straight rankings, dating back to the 2014-15 season, as the top-ranked team in NJCAA Division II.

Tyler JC received two first-place votes to edge second ranked South Mountain and No 3 Mississppi Gulf Coast, who both also received two first-place ballots. Tyler JC tallied 56 total points while South Mountain received 52 and Mississippi Gulf Coast 51. Fourth-ranked Murray State (OK) was followed by Mesa, Kirkwood, Copiah Lincoln and Meridian. Ninth-ranked Walters State and No. 10 Rend Lake made its debuts in the ranking.

Illinois Central and Owens dropped from the Top 10.
