NORMAN, Okla. – Illinois moved into sole possession of the No. 1 ranking in the final fall Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll. The Illini, who shared the top spot with Auburn in the previous ranking, claimed 12 first-place votes.

Auburn dropped to second with seven first-place votes. Wake Forest, Florida State and Stanford stayed at Nos. 3-5. The Demon Deacons collected the final two remaining first-place ballots. Southern California bumped up two spots to sixth while Texas, Duke, Arizona State and Oklahoma round out the top 10.

Washington reentered the ranking at No. 23.

USF dropped from the top 25.
