ORLANDO, Fla. – Alabama and Oklahoma State tied for the top spot in the GCAA Coaches Preseason Poll.

The two-time defending champion Crimson Tide received 13 first-place votes while two ballots put the Cowboys at No. 1. Georgia Tech came in at third with one first-place vote and fourth-ranked Texas collected the remaining six No. 1 votes. Georgia rounds out the top five.

Seven different conferences were represented in the preseason poll led by the SECs eight.
