NEW YORK, NY (APRIL 30, 2014) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division I College Coaches’ Poll of the Spring 2014 season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions II, III, NAIA and NJCAA will appear in the May 5, 2014 issue of Golf World. Alabama, fresh off a convincing 16-stroke victory at the SEC Championship, earned all 19 first-place votes as the squad remained the No. 1 team in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division I men’s coaches’ poll.

The Crimson Tide won their seventh team title of the 2013-14 season by claiming their third straight conference championship as they prepare to defend their NCAA title. Alabama senior Bobby Wyatt won the SEC individual title with a school-record 18-under 192.

Oklahoma State maintained its spot at No. 2 in the latest poll with Georgia Tech moving up one spot to No. 3 after the Yellow Jackets won the ACC Championship for the seventh time in the last nine years.

California and Stanford round out the top five.

No new teams moved into the top 10 or the top 25 as the Division I men’s school prepare for the announcement of the teams that qualified for the NCAA Regionals, which will take place May 5.
