Randy Smith is the Head Golf Professional at Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas, a position he has held since 1980 after starting as an assistant golf professional at Royal Oaks in 1976.

Randy has received the President’s Plaque a total of 16 times, and has also been named the National PGA Professional of the Year (1996), National PGA Teacher of the Year (2002) and was inducted into the PGA Golf Professional Hall of Fame in 2005.  He is named as one of America’s 50 Best Teachers by Golf Digest and Top 100 Teachers by Golf Magazine.  Randy’s students include PGA Tour Professionals Justin Leonard, Martin Flores, Harrison Frazer, Ryan Palmer and John Rollins, and D.A. Weibring of the Champions’s Tour.
