(NEW YORK, NY) — The 2012 season's first Golf World/Nike Golf NJCAA DI coaches' poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).  The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA will appear in the March 5, 2012 issue of Golf World.  Meridian remained the top team in the NJCAA D-I men's coaches' poll.

The Eagles began their spring season with a victory at the Faulkner State Invitational.

Odessa received the only other first-place vote in the poll after a victory at The Wrangler.

No new teams entered this week's ranking, while Brevard moved into the top-5 at No. 4.
