(NEW YORK, NY) — The 2012 season's first Golf World/Nike Golf NAIA College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, III, and NJCAA will appear in the March 5, 2012 issue of Golf World. Oklahoma Christian claimed 11 of the 15 first-place votes to retain its spot atop the NAIA coaches' poll.

The Eagles won twice in the fall and earned a victory in their spring-opener, the San Antonio Shoot-Out.

One new team, Texas Wesleyan, moved into the top-10 at No. 6, while Shorter (No. 24) and Northwood (Texas) (No. 25) were new entries into the poll.
