NEW YORK, NY —The first Golf World/Nike Golf NJCAA DII College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). South Mountian took six of the seven first place votes to hold on to the No. 1 ranking in the first Golf World/Nike Golf men's NJCAA DII coaches' poll of the spring.
The Cougars have claimed two spring titles, the Scottsdale Invitational and the Tiffany & Bosco Invitational.
Tyler Junior College received the other first-place vote and was second in the first spring ranking.
Owens Community College was the lone new entry into the top 10 at number 8.
