(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf NAIA College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Wins at the Grand View Classic and the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational rocketed Bellevue from No. 17 into the No. 1 spot in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf men's NAIA coaches' poll.

The Bruins earned two first-place votes after posting three other top-five finishes to start the 2012-13 season.

Texas Wesleyan claimed the No. 2 spot, earning five first-place votes. Rounding out the top five are CSU-San Marcos, Oklahoma City (the previously No. 1 ranked school) and University of the Cumberlands.

Six new programs joined the top 25: No. 16 Ashford, No. 18 Lindsey Wilson, No. 20 Southern Wesleyan, No. 23 Northwestern College, No. 24, Marian U.-Indianapolis and Saint Thomas (Fla.), which claimed a share of No. 25.
