(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division III College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf Worldmagazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, NAIA and NJCAA will appear in the April 16, 2012 issue of Golf World.  Winning all four tournament starts since early March, Methodist has vaulted up to the No. 1 spot in the Golf World/Nike Golf men’s Division III college coaches’ poll.

The Monarch claimed 13 of 16 first-place votes to unseat previous No. 1 Guilford, which dropped to the No. 2 spot.

Illinois Wesleyan, Redlands and UT-Tyler fell into the Nos. 3, 4 and 5 spots respectively. New to the top 10 are No. 9 Greensboro (up from No. 14) and No. 10 Emory (up from No. 19).

Two new schools join the top 25: No. 23 Otterbein and No. 24 Hampden-Sydney.
