(NEW YORK, NY) — The latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division III College Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, NAIA and NJCAA will appear in the March 26, 2012 issue of Golf World.  With two victories in the spring to match its two wins in the fall, Guilford kept firm hold of its No. 1 spot in the Golf World/Nike Golf men’s Division III coaches’ poll.

The Quakers earned 12 of the 15 available first-place votes to maintain its comfortable lead over No. 2 Illinois Wesleyan.

Methodist and UT-Tyler remained third and fourth in the poll, respectively, while Redlands moved up one spot to the No. 5 position.

No new schools joined the top 10. No. 23 Wisconsin-Stout and No. 24 Concordia Moorhead (Minn.) are the two new schools that joined the top 25.
