Brayden is currently a sophomore at Rose State College. Upon graduation in December, he plans on attending The University of Oklahoma to pursue a Bachelor’s in Communications and Journalism. Brayden is an avid fan of the Oklahoma Sooners as well as the Cleveland Indians. He expects to graduate from The University of Oklahoma in Spring of 2020.

Shelby Brown is an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma seeking a degree in both Marketing and Sports Management and a minor in Nonprofit Organization Studies. After growing up in Norman, she decided to go to OU after graduating from Norman High School in 2013. Along with working for the GCAA, she is employed by the University of Oklahoma athletic department’s broadcasting arm, SoonerVision. She also has experience working as a Ticket Sales Associate with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2014-2015 season and working with a student-ran nonprofit company in the Fall 2015 semester. Through the program in the Price College of Business, called the Integrated Business Core, and her company Oklacozy, Shelby helped raise over $20,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and volunteered over seventy hours at a local nonprofit, the OK Kids Korral.

The GCAA’s Deputy Director, Dustin Roberts joined the Association staff in November 2002. His primary duties include serving as staff liaison to several GCAA committees and directing the Association’s communications efforts, as well as projects as assigned by the CEO or National Advisory Board. Before joining the GCAA, Roberts worked for the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and the University of Oklahoma Athletic Media Relations office.

Hailing from Eva, Okla., in the Panhandle, Roberts received a degree in Communications from Oklahoma.

Darren Rogers imageDarren Rogers is currently serving in his second year as intern with the GCAA and assists in a variety of functions at the national office. A junior at the University of Oklahoma, Rogers is majoring in history with the goal of becoming a high school golf coach after graduation. 

A 2007 graduate of Norman North High School, Rogers was a four-year member of the FCA and continues to be involved with the group. A native of Norman, Okla., Rogers hobbies include working out, playing guitar, golfing, skiing, fishing, billiards, writing lyrics and hanging out with friends.

Megan Goodwin ImageMegan Goodwin joined the GCAA as Director of Membership Services and Outreach in March 2010. Her primary responsibilities include all facets of the All-America Scholar program, as well as All-America, regional and national awards. Goodwin also works at the GCAA staff representative with the GCAA/The First Tee partnership.

Goodwin graduated from the University of Oklahoma – where she competed on the women’s golf team for three seasons – in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing. She earned a Master’s of Education degree in Athletic Administration in May of 2009. While attending her master’s studies, Goodwin worked as a graduate assistant in the Oklahoma Athletics Department.

In her free time Goodwin enjoys playing golf and traveling.
